Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Analyse legal entity structures, verify accounts and beneficiaries, perform application screening, and conduct customer due diligence (CDD) based on risk rating procedures for licensing-related transactions, in accordance with AML/CTF policies, procedures, and AML Compliance office guidance.

Must have experience in AML/KYC/CDD

Responsibilities:

•Obtain KYC/KYB documentation from clients and public sources and verify entities, UBOs, and key controllers.

•Conduct due diligence (CDD) based on risk ratings; identify missing information and raise information/document requests.

•Identify and verify UBOs and connected parties, document ownership and control structures.

•Perform live screening of companies and individuals against sanctions lists, PEPs, adverse media, and financial crime alerts.

•Investigate screening alerts and determine alert status (False Match, Partial Match, True Match); escalate True and Potential Matches to AML Compliance.

•Approve low and medium-risk clients under Simplified Due Diligence (SDD).

•Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for medium-high and high-risk clients; escalate EDD results to AML Compliance.

•Report red flags, suspicious behavior, and AML program breaches according to escalation procedures.

•Perform remediation action plans during the CDD journey and verify before approving applications.

•Recommend process improvements to enhance CDD/KYC quality and efficiency.

•Complete all reviews and escalations within agreed timelines and SLA standards.

•Guide internal stakeholders on KYC/CDD requirements; respond to client AML/CFT compliance inquiries.

•Stay updated on regulatory changes in AML/CFT laws and practices.
