Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with expertise in the production of trailers, truck bodies, containers, and similar products within the GCC region. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of production, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and within budget. They will be responsible for managing production units, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Production Management:

    • Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficient and timely production of trailers, truck bodies, containers, and related products.
    • Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring that production targets and deadlines are met.
    • Monitor production processes, adjusting schedules and resources as needed to maintain optimal efficiency.

Quality Control:

    • Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.
    • Implement and maintain quality control procedures, conducting regular inspections and audits.
    • Address and resolve any quality issues promptly to minimize disruptions.

Team Leadership:

    • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of production staff, including supervisors, technicians, and operators.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Resource Management:

    • Manage the procurement and inventory of raw materials, ensuring adequate supplies to meet production needs.
    • Optimize the use of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to control costs and maximize efficiency.

Health and Safety:

    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
    • Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.

Process Improvement:

    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data to drive decision-making.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, incorporating best practices into production processes.

Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, inventory levels, and quality control documentation.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of [6] years of experience in production management within the GCC region, specifically in the manufacturing of trailers, truck bodies, containers, or similar products.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
