• Lead and oversee EDD reviews for high-risk customer onboarding, including Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), complex corporate structures, correspondent banking relationships, and customers from high-risk jurisdictions.
• Perform in-depth risk assessments using internal systems, external data sources, adverse media screening, and intelligence tools, and provide recommendations for account approval, rejection, or escalation.
• Ensure all EDD activities comply with AML, CTF, sanctions, and KYC regulations, while staying up to date with evolving regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate closely with front office, onboarding teams, compliance advisory, and senior management to ensure effective and timely handling of high-risk clients.
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of EDD analysts, ensuring consistent quality standards and continuous professional development.
• Drive enhancements in EDD processes, including process optimization, automation, workflow improvements, and effective use of advanced screening tools.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation to support internal audits, regulatory examinations, and compliance reviews.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, financial services, or a related compliance function, with strong exposure to EDD and high-risk customer onboarding.
