Hiring: Head of Compliance – Kuwait (Summary)

Regulatory Compliance
- Build and maintain the compliance framework as per CMA and Boursa Kuwait rules.
- Ensure adherence to all CMA laws and regulatory updates.
- Manage regulatory reporting and communication with CMA, auditors, and inspectors.
Compliance Risk Management
- Conduct compliance reviews and risk assessments.
- Investigate breaches and drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Legal, Internal Audit, and other teams for issue resolution.
Policies & Internal Controls
- Develop and update compliance policies and manuals.
- Strengthen internal controls and review documents/contracts for compliance alignment.
- Ensure cross-department compliance across Finance, HR, Operations, and Investments.
AML / CFT
- Serve as AML Compliance Officer; oversee AML/CTF programs.
- Manage KYC, onboarding, due diligence, and STR filings.
- Review high-risk and PEP cases and conduct AML risk assessments.
Training & Reporting
- Deliver compliance and AML training to staff.
- Provide regulatory updates and ensure awareness of ethical standards.
- Report compliance risks and findings to senior management and the Audit & Risk Committee.
Integrity & Governance
- Maintain confidentiality and promote a strong ethical and compliant culture.
