Hiring for Compliance Officer – UAE

a reputable real estate brokerage firm, is seeking a Compliance Officer to join their UAE-based team. This full-time, on-site role involves ensuring end-to-end AML compliance, regulatory adherence, and proper oversight of brokerage transactions in line with UAE AML, RERA, and DLD standards.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct CDD and EDD checks, verifying documents and assessing client risk
• Monitor property transactions for AML red flags and prepare STRs for FIU when required
• Maintain AML logs including KYC, EDD, and STR registers
• Ensure compliance with RERA, DLD, Trakheesi, and UAE AML regulations
• Review Form A/B/F, tenancy contracts, and transaction files for completeness
• Conduct internal audits and escalate compliance gaps
• Support policy implementation, AML reporting, and regulatory inquiries
• Provide AML guidance and support training for brokers and staff

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in AML / compliance within a real estate brokerage
• Strong knowledge of UAE AML laws, RERA, and DLD regulations
• Solid understanding of CDD, EDD, STR reporting, and risk assessment
• Strong communication skills, high integrity, and keen attention to detail
